This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you open a page, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the requested address and browser details in order to deliver the page and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

When you ask Lisa a question, your message and the previous course of the conversation are sent to OpenAI so that the language model GPT-6 Luna can generate an answer. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. According to OpenAI, data sent through its API is not used to train its models and is retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.

To find errors and improve Lisa's answers, I log the conversations with Langfuse (Langfuse GmbH, Berlin, part of ClickHouse, Inc.) on servers in the EU. Recognised email addresses and phone numbers are automatically masked before logging. The messages of one conversation are grouped by a random identifier that is not linked to you as a person; IP addresses are not stored. Individual answers may be rated automatically by a language model for quality control, also via OpenAI. I delete the logs after 90 days at the latest.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is to answer questions about my background and to ensure the quality of the answers. Using the chatbot is voluntary. Please do not enter sensitive personal data.

When you switch the language, the site stores your choice in a cookie named “locale” (valid for one year) and briefly remembers your scroll position in your browser's session storage. Both serve only this function (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). There are no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts are loaded from this website's own server, not from Google.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data and to data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR). You can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). To do so, write to the email address above.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) in Ansbach.
